Wize Pharma, Inc. (OTCQB: WIZP) a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the treatment of ophthalmic disorders, today announced it amended the terms of certain convertible loans which had total outstanding amounts of approximately $1,520,000 that were due on November 30, 2019. Wize repaid approximately $760,000 of the total loan amount in cash, and the lenders have converted the remaining $760,000, thereby retiring the loans. As a result of the amendment, the conversion price was changed to $0.27 per share of common stock. Additionally, Wize has agreed to issue two warrants for each share of common stock issued to the lenders. The warrants have an exercise price of $0.27 per share and a term of 5 years.
“We are very pleased with our lenders having exercised part of their loans into equity expressing the faith in the company and facilitating the resources to continue our ongoing clinical program,” stated Wize’s CEO Noam Danenberg נועם דננברג. “We are eager to move forward with a clean balance sheet that has no remaining convertible loans.”
